Art Therapy and Visual Art Education Student Exhibition

Join the College of Education Art Therapy and Visual Art Education students for their annual student art exhibition. The gallery will feature the artwork of students in the program that is both challenging and thought provoking. The exhibition will open Friday, June 9th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and the exhibition run through Thursday, June 29, 2017.  The event is free and is open to the public.

The Detroit Equity Action Lab at Wayne Law's Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights presents "Information Democracy: Community Investigation and Research Trainings."The fifth of eight workshops will cover Legal Research and teach basic skills for navigating law libraries, such as how to look up cases and legal precedents.The workshops are free and open to the public. A light dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.

If you have a bachelor's degree in a field other than education and would like to become a certified teacher, we invite you to attend an information meeting to learn more about the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) and post-bachelor certification programs at WSU. Attendees must possess or be within one year of completing a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university. If you are unable to attend this meeting, check the College of Education calendar for additional dates throughout 2017.
